When I first started playing Oblivion I was blown away by the enviroments. I didn't think there could be an improvement made, due to the complexity and detail that Bethesda had provided. The Unique Landscape team, however, has brought new life to Cyrodiil. My favorite of their mods so far is Phitt's Entius Gorge. I really like spelunking through it's craggy cliffs and beautiful waterfalls. The gorge is so named because it's mouth is next to Fort Entius on the Silverfish River. For fun, scamper to the top of the tallest waterfall, and dive off. The water's usually deep enough that you won't get hurt (badly), and the rush is worth it. The gorge is just part of the much larger Unique Landscapes series of mods that aspire to bring some more diversity to Oblivion. Some of my other favorites are The Heath (a marshland) and Beaches of Cyrodiil: The Lost Coast. I recommend you seek out the other parts of the Unique Landscape series of mods and install them all; it's worth it. Alphasim out.
